“Originally I used the hidden hardware with TimberTech post sleeves and could barely get them to tighten. Within a few days I would look out only to see one or more cables loose and drooping. After going back out no less than 10 times to attempt to re-tighten, I ordered these. The added length on the threads allowed me to cut off the old swaged ends and attach these on the same cables. Now instead of 3/4″ of adjustment I have more like 1.5-2″ making it so I can now get the cables tight without having to replace all my cables.”
